Cash on delivery (C.O.D.)

Outline
  • This payment method uses the Yamato Transport C.O.D. service “Takkyubin Collect”.
  • Delivery of your order will be processed straight away, so when receiving your order please pay the Takkyubin driver the purchase price in cash.
C.O.D. non-service areas

Currently, some of the remote islands listed below are non-service areas for C.O.D.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, and kindly ask that customers requesting delivery to these areas use the postal/bank transfer or credit card payment methods for payment of their order.

C.O.D. non-service areas
  • Izu island chain (excluding Oshima and Hachijojima)
    →Toshima, Niijima, Shikinejima, Kouzushima, Miyakejima, Mikurashima, Aogashima
  • Ogasawara (Bonin) islands
Details of payment

The details of payment for the product price and exchange fee are as follows:

  • Product purchase price
  • Consumption tax…10% of product purchase price
  • Postage fee … flat rate of ¥550 per order (incl. consumption tax)
  • C.O.D. handling fee … usage fee for “Takkyubin Collect Service”
C.O.D. handling fee

The C.O.D. handling fee is determined based on the total of the product purchase price, consumption tax and postage fee, as follows:

Important reminders
  • C.O.D. is a payment method whereby the customer makes payment to the delivery driver when they receive the order. Therefore, it is not a suitable payment method for purchases made as gifts.
  • Please make the C.O.D. payment in cash. Credit or Debit cards cannot be used for this payment method.
  • The “Cancel order” function can be used for postal transfer payments. Orders can be cancelled from here within 1 hour of being made. Please use this function if you made a mistake in your order.
